QUALIFICATIONS AND OBJECTIVE

 

I’ve worked in digital video production, virtually since Apple’s Final Cut Pro editing software was first released to the market in 1999. During that time I’ve developed my shooting and editing skills to create and participate in a broad range of productions, including health and medical programming, corporate, industrial, and promotional spots, documentary, events, and non-profit projects. Possessed of a keen sense of rhythm, music, and dialogue, an eye for natural composition, and highly developed organizational skills.

 

PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

 

2012 - 2014

Worked as producer, director, camera operator, or editor, and often all of the above, on a wide range of projects for many clients. Highlights include The Nature Conservancy, Fast Company, Project Sunshine, The New York Laborers Union, and the Center for Study of Working Class Life at Stony Brook University.

 

2006 - 2011

HealthiNation; Post-Production Supervisor and Senior Editor for an industry-leading cable on-demand and web-based educational health video network targeted to consumers. Editeda wide range of programs including medical condition segments, lifestyle, reality, video magazine, and promotional spots. Organized and maintained all media assets, and was responsible for managing the company’s seamless transition to a tapeless workflow. Received multiple awards including W3, Telly, and World Wide Web Health Awards.

 

2006

New York State Laborers Health and Safety Fund; Series of five job-site safety training videos, for educational use among the entire international union membership and beyond.Director, Camera/Audio, Editor. BrandBuzz (division of Young & Rubicam); LG Electronics ad concept development piece. Camera, Editor. Meeting Face to Face: The Iraq-US Labor Solidarity Tour; Documentary about a U.S. tour by six Iraqi labor leaders in June 2005, meeting with U.S. labor leaders, politicians, anti-war activists, and others. Produced by the Center for Study of Working Class Life, SUNY Stony Brook University. Director, Camera/Audio, Editor. .
